Spent last week in CA with the family on vacation. Spent time in Livermore and Mariposa with relatives. The latter was a great place to visit because my Cingular Blackberry didn't have service and I didn't have any internet access (so I'm still catching up on the email I received).
Bought a Garmin 670 GPS to take to make life easy. Very neat device. I loved the bluetooth synch with my Blackberry (so hands-free phone calls) and the device is small and finds the satellites quickly.
Rented a mini-van, but when we got the SFO the company I was renting from was out of vans so we ended up with some Nissan monster-truck/suv. As always, its nice to get home and get into one of my vehicles to drive home. I forget how nice they are until I drive the junk the rental car companies pedal...
